Born porcelain. Reborn in wood. Hannah’s spirit grew too large for her first body.

The True Story of Hannah Williamson: The girl who wanted more than the cage, who became dangerous in her fight to be free.

Her History

Once, she was just a Quaker farmer’s daughter. Raised on a strict Quaker farm in 1840s Pennsylvania, she was expected to behave, obey, and never—ever—raise her voice.
Hannah Williamson wasn’t born to be quiet.
Then something in her cracked open— or lit up— or caught fire.
So naturally… she climbed onto a log, threw off her shoes, grabbed a Bible in one hand and a hatchet in the other, and started preaching loud enough to shake the leaves off the chestnut trees.

As the fiery second-in-command of Theophilus Gates’ infamous Battle-Axe movement, Hannah became the most talked-about woman in Chester County, half prophet, half scandal, and entirely unforgettable.

She marched barefoot, challenged every rule in sight, and believed with her whole storm-sized heart that love, freedom, and truth weren’t sins… just very poorly understood.

 Some called her a miracle-worker.
Some called her a menace.
Everyone agreed on one thing:

Hannah Williamson did not do life quietly.

And then, without warning, Hannah disappeared. No body. No farewell. Not even footprints in the frost. Just rumors… and fear…and a valley that never recovered from whatever she unleashed.

For years, people asked the same question: What did Hannah Williamson do to this place?

But no one knew the truth about Hannah’s disappearance…until now.

Our puppet show answers it. Not gently. Not politely. Come see the true story they tried to bury. Come hear the voice they couldn’t silence.

Come find out why the valley still whispers her name
